So, let me start this right. I'm not Brittany, or Aeria, I'm her older brother, Nick. As you can assume, I've got some bad news. I guess I'll start with the worse and explain as I go.

Aeria's currently in the hospital due to blood loss. Yes, she slit her wrists again. She should be back by tomorrow evening - but if I know her well enough, she'll try to get herself discharged by tonight.

Earlier today, Mom and Pop got into a pretty bad argument, which eventually lead to Dad letting his frustration out on Aeria and Alex. Aeria got the worst of it apparently, with stabs like, "all your medical shit is putting us in the poor house" and "you're so fucked up, you'd be better off in a mental aslyum." I wasn't here, so I can't clarify, but it's what Mom told me. In any case, Mom retaliated and told him he shouldn't talk to his kids like that, to which Dad didn't respond (I'm guessing he was starting to feel bad about what he said, or he'd have said something.).

Mom packed her's, Alex's and Aeria's clothes and a few neccesity items, got in the car and went somewhere. This is about when Mom called me on the phone and informed me of what happened, and I thought I should play damage control, so I came to the house. Dad said Mom took the kids and went to Aunt Janet. I got in the car and drove there, but Mom was gone and had left Alex with Janet. Jane said she took Aeria with her and they were on their way home, Alex just wanted to spend the night.

I came back the house to find... a warzone, really. Mom and Dad were throwing insults back and forth like grade schoolers, but Aeria was no where to be seen... Fearing the worst, I went upstairs and found her in the bathroom. She'd passed out from blood loss. I applied pressure to the cuts with my jacket, got Mom and Dad to calm down and drove with her to the hospital. Mom and Dad have since apoligized to one another for what happened and have agreed to let Aeria stay with me and Maria when she gets up... if she agrees. I'm sure she won't but whatever, it's her choice, I guess.

She's fine, and will be back soon, I just thought you all had the right to know what happened. I'll pass on any and all well wishes and answer any questions if they come up.
